José Azel for World Press Photo
Aurora founder and CEO, José Azel recently took part in the nominating committee for World Press Photo’s 2011 Multimedia Contest. The 2011 multimedia contest held in March, showcases the very best in linear and interactive storytelling.
“For many years I have been waiting for what we now call multimedia storytelling to become mainstream. Finally, more still photographer, and publications are embracing this fuller way of conveying information. We are still not where we want to be, but we are definitely headed in the right direction. It’s an honor to be one of the members of the nominating committee for such a prestigious organization as World Press Photos. The judges made great choices with their awards. Congratulations to the winners!”
