Images captured 50-years ago, when Aurora photographer Enrique Meneses was encamped with a young Fidel Castro, are featured in the January 12, 2009 issue of TIME Magazine. Just four months before the Cuban Revolution moved into Havana, Meneses captured images of Castro reading a book by candlelight, drafting a surrender letter and even firing shots that initiated combat.
